NASA has set the launch date for Endeavour to November 14.

NASA has set the launch date for Endeavour to November 14. The date was bumped by two days to make way for Atlantis. The launch for Atlantis was scheduled for October 14.
The Endeavour mission will increase the space station's resident crew capacity from three to six. The space shuttle was being prepared for a rescue flight if Atlantis sustained damage during its Hubble servicing mission.

The launch is set for 7:55 PM November 14 at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Endeavour will land at 2:15 PM on November 29.

NASA has started preparations to move Endeavour from launch pad 39B to pad 39A. The location is about 1.5 miles to the south.

Endeavour's crew will arrive at the space center on October 29. They will practice landings in modified jets and emergency escape procedures at the launch pad.
